Private dance lessons offer the possibility of working 1 to 1 with a dance teacher, setting goals and tracking your progress. It’s a great way to accelerate the learning of new steps for social dancing, if you want to perfect leading and following, arms styling, and also more advanced actions and rhythm for competitive dancers. Bogdan and Anna offer bespoke dance tuition for any level from total beginners to advanced open competitors and tailor the lessons to the specific requirements of each individual or couple.
Bogdan and Anna evaluate each individual’s level, and together set a goal and decide on steps to follow in order to achieve it. As every person’s level is unique, so is their approach. After you reach your set goal, you can plan the next objectives and how to improve on them. In this way you will have a tailor made experience in the ballroom dance world and progress towards feeling more confident each time you dance.
If you want to challenge yourself even further, you have the possibility of taking part in Pro Am dance competitions. This is a very popular type of dance form, thanks to the development of Strictly Come Dancing. From its name, it implies a partnership formed from a Professional and an Amateur dancer. Similar to sports like golf or tennis in the Pro-Am competition system, the amateur dancer takes part in competitions partnered by a professional dancer. The professional helps highlight their skills and adding to their respective value and potential. The ProAm system gives amateur dancers an incentive to compete not only with others but with themselves.
